On this September morning, Melany will take you on a hunt for wild, edible mushrooms. First, we'll enjoy a reading of the 32 page picture book and will then head out to see what is springing up in the woods at Bonnyvale Environmental Educational Center

In her new book, Mason Goes Mushrooming, author Melany Kahn invites your kids to join her on fungi treasure hunts through the seasons. On this September morning, she will take you on a hunt for wild, edible mushrooms. First, we'll enjoy a reading of the 32 page picture book and will then head out to see what is springing up in the woods at BEEC. Once we're back, we will gather around the picnic tables to cook and sample some mushrooms.
